Estonian band Silky Steps drop new single ‘I Like It I Love It’
Some new music to help you take the rough with the smooth courtesy of Estonian Silky Steps and their new single “I Like It, I Love It”, the final track lifted from the band’s upcoming LP Universal Language due out on June 2nd via Funk Embassy Records.
“I Like It, I Love It” teases the neo-soul, nu disco album in all the right ways. The tune is sexy, sneaky and has a French touch, just like Silky Steps!
The 5-piece takes looks forward to populating the scene already inhabited by acts such as L’imperatrice, Breakbot, Parcels, Jungle and Nile Rodgers to name a few. Grabbing the pop side of funk and disco by its horns, the combo of male-female lead vocals sing about about the X-rated side of life. Plentiful synths and suave basslines get all the right juices flowing.
