Hamburg Spinners release new video and single ‘Heisser Schlitten’
The Hamburg Spinners are back! The quartet specialized in contemporary soul and mod jazz founded by Carsten ‘Erobique‘ Meyer makes a grand return with new single “Heisser Schlitten”, in which the mad quartet takes you on a high-speed mod-organ-psych ride, recorded at the legendary MPS-Studio in the Black Forest. With this new track they also reveal the exciting news that the Hamburg Spinners‘ third album Im Schwarzwald is coming soon!
After 2 albums Skorpion Im Stiefil in 2020 and Der Magische Kraken from 2021, both released with the same label Légère Recordings, the quartet is back with their usual genre, weaving together floating Hammond organ lines, kinetic, driving grooves, funky breaks, and slicing, economic improvisation.
