“Salon Privé” is the second sneak peek into Alex Puddu’s upcoming new album Professione Reporter, and it serves up top class italo disco with a killer bassline and a contagious melody, taking you back to 1983 and the golden era of Italy’s iconic music TV show ‘Discoring’.
The video to “Salon Privé” is a critique of the pervasive nature of cosmetic surgery in today’s society, so obsessed in the quest for eternal youth and beauty. It portrays a beautiful young woman chasing perfection by going under the knife, with Alex portraying unscrupulous plastic surgeon Dr. Alessandro D’Amati. The girl wakes up from the operating table and is be plunged into a nightmare… with a final twist!
Professione Reporter will be released on LP, CD, Cassette and Digitally on May 12th 2025.
