New single ‘Out Of Sync’ by jazz-funk visionaries Resolution 88
UK jazz funk visionaries Resolution 88 give a glimpse into their upcoming third album “Revolutions” with first single “Out Of Sync”, a midtempo excursion into fusion territories inhabited by syncopated beats, incisive stabs of Fender Rhodes and an inquisitive sax. It comes accompanied by a brilliant mash-up video clip that includes the Clintons, a pig eating a cookie, and lots of cats.
With the release of their first two albums and live shows supporting Snarky Puppy, Roy Ayers, Marcus Miller, Larry Mizell & the Blackbyrds, Butcher Brown, Yellowjackets and more, Resolution 88 have already been spreading their chemistry for some time. Upcoming third album “Revolutions” however is a very special milestone indeed; it was recorded to multi-track tape, features a string and brass section, and is the first full-length by the band that will be available on vinyl. If “Out Of Sync” is a first taste, then we’re hungry for more!
“Revolutions” out on LP / CD / Digital on September 20th via Légère Recordings
