Deep funk band Amazin’ Five from Moscow drops new single ‘Money’
Deep third single from the follow up to the “sampler of the year” (Starwax Magazine), German label Golden Rules‘ compilation series, The Originals. The new taste of the second volume is from a new and upcoming deep funk band from Moscow, Russia called Amazin’ Five, whose first physical release, 7″ single “Only With You“ on Tramp Records, went sold out within a couple of weeks. A young generation of Russian musicians that want to make music not war, ready to enter the world’s scene with the strong voice of singer Olesia.
Amazin’ Five was formed in Moscow, Russia in the Spring of 2017 by musicians and who have played in different soul, jazz & reggae bands and a funk 45 DJ, capturing the best of all worlds. The bands music is influenced by both American soul music and by the soviet rare pop scene. The band has been steadily playing in breakdance contests and in bars, mixing a hip-hop crowd with ordinary people who just enjoy soulful party vibe. With their first 45 being released via Tramp Records in 2021, the band is now on the way to be another groovy star from the Russian funk scene.
