Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, instrumental trio Magic In Threes are specialized in psychedelic cinematic soul and are highly influenced by library records, old film soundtracks, and Hip Hop tapes. They were formed in 2010 as a side project to their work with DeRobert & The Half Truths and The Gripsweats and have gone on to release a long line of solid and well-received records on Nashville’s own G.E.D Soul Records.

Magic In Threes made their debut in 2011 with the release of their self-titled album on GED Soul Records,  a collection of eccentrically crafted tunes that firmly put them on the map. In 2015 they released their follow-up, ‘The Return Of’, that combined many shades of many moods, finding a nice balance between strange hype arrangements and super chill “couch-lock” inducing slow jams.

Albums ‘3’, ‘IV’, ‘V’ and ‘VI’ were all released in rapid succession in 2016, followed by a slew of 7″ singles, on labels such as King Underground, Spasibo and Razor N Tape. As anticipation builds for the band’s next release, a new collaboration with German label Golden Rules is set to satisfy a few hungry ears.
