9-piece outfit The Everettes release mid-tempo stomper “Soul Thing”
The Everettes return with their new single “Soul Thing”, a mid-tempo r&b tune about what really matters: being a good person.
The Berlin based 9-piece-outfit, who combine a classic girl group vibe with influences of Northern Soul, Stax and Motown, hereby present their first new track since their well acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2020.
Being challenged by the pandemic and the distance of singer Jess Roberts since her move to California in the same year, the band practiced via remote songwriting and finally recorded this track together in Hamburg this year with Dennis Rux (Angels of Libra) at Yeah Yeah Yeah Studios.
A full album is in the making to be released in 2023, featuring lead vocals and harmonies of all three singers.
