Single & video ‘Living Proof’ by Bella Brown & The Jealous Lovers
Hot on the heels of first single “Soul Clap“, which is also the titletrack of their upcoming album, LA-based outfit Bella Brown & The Jealous Lovers drop new tune “Living Proof”, a soul-disco stomper which also coincides with the launch of the pre-sales for album Soul Clap.
Hailing from Chicago and now based in Los Angeles, Bella Brown & The Jealous Lovers specialize in the soul and funk sounds of the 60s and 70s. Led by the dynamically charismatic and Grammy Award-winning Bella Brown, their fiery lead singer embodies a blend of Tina Turner and Sharon Jones, channeling the empowered female leads of 70s Blaxploitation films.
Supported by the talented musicians of The Jealous Lovers, this outfit delivers a uniquely modern take on traditional soul and funk genres through captivating live performances. New single “Living Proof” serves as a shining example of their distinctive style. Musically reminiscent of The Tramps with the soulful flair of Sam and Dave, this joyous anthem celebrates self-love, acceptance, and pride, inviting listeners to revel in an uptempo dance track that encourages the proclamation of individual happiness.
The single is taken from the band’s upcoming full-length Soul Clap, dropping on February 2nd, which will include new and extended versions of Bella‘s three previous singles, five new tracks, and of course the infectious “Living Proof”.
