Up-and-coming Italian band C’ammafunk give taste of debut album
Young up-and-coming outfit C’ammafunk from Salerno, South Italy, give a taste of their debut album Bouncing to be released in the Fall on esteemed Italian label IRMA Records, with 2 singles and a video!
“Fly High” sees the participation of Canadian rapper L. Teez and acclaimed violinist Arcangelo Michele Caso. The track combines a neo-soul groove with modern rap bars and orchestral flourishes of strings and comes accompanied with a vibrant animated video.
“Funkshovit” is an uptempo 5-minute groove monster featuring guest Gianfranco Campagnoli on trumpet. It showcases C’ammafunk’s ability to merge oldschool funk vibes and a modern sensibility, and includes a series of scorching improvised solos. The track is a bit of a mission statement and the mission is clear: C’ammafunk are here to groove and move you!
